My memory doesn't go back that far, post watershed, but Elton did a simulcast in 1974

Maybe the difference in the sets will help identify the show you remember.

Regarding Buzzcocks I haven't found anything to support them recording an 'in concert', and message 15433 refers to a 'best of' transmitted that day.
