would also be interested to hear other views. Still think Andy K deserves a people page here: http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/Category:People. I'm not much of an expert - maybe get him to write his own? I think someone here seemed to be pals - maybe they could ask.
I think we miss him .... and without Peel (RIP) there is more to miss.
Would also welcome a page on John Peel's Shed if the loverly author is listening.
Mark

Hi Mark
>sure there was a page created for AK shows but can't find.
The page is here , and was created by our very own Dr. Mango: I have added an author credit to him, with many thanks and ap0logies for missing that out when I originally created the list on the Wiki . Thanks for pointing it out!
>Whilst looking for Kershaw I came across this: Jimmy Savile . I think we need to edit and mention that he is posthumously charged with sexual abuse of young girls and boys using his position of fame and his eccentricity as an effective cover for destroying young lives.
In fact, an unknown contributor has already tried to add a comment along the lines of 'Like Peel, Savile had an unhealthy interest in underage girls,' which another use quite rightly deleted. I have protected the page due to the sensitive nature of this material. Whether these allegations are true or not, I don't think they have any place in what is supposed to be a database containing information related solely to Peel himself, and I feel drawing attention to extraneous matters will not do our cause any good, since the Daily M**l is conducting a one-rag campaign to tar him with the same brush.
I would be interested to hear other members' comments on this, and whether there should be any mention (couched in objective language) of the situation.
Best wishes
Steve (TK)
