If I remember correctly, the question was how many sessions had been recorded by a certain well-known artist. Embarrassingly I can't remember which artist it was, but I strongly suspect it was Loudon Wainwright III (whose career spanned a considerable portion of John's programmes).
My friend James and I were going to enter, but we got cold feet, figuring that with Peel's huge listenership there would be thousands of correct answers and we wouldn't stand a chance. So we didn't enter. And on the night the results were announced it transpired that there had been only four entries (only two of which were correct) so Peel gave a prize to everyone who entered.
Still, "In Session Tonight" is a great book and I didn't regret for a moment paying the full price for it in the BBC Shop.
