I presume someone has checked with said Nigel if he knows of any shows that could be shared on wiki ... or at least have a listing that says we know they exist. Eg we only have part of the first Top Gear show but he appears to have had access to other bits. In return we could  put a link to his new long player on our page.

Top Sounds is a one-man record company...Nigel Lees....great bloke....a long-time tracker down of Transcription discs...and yes he does go through all of the copyright issues and suchlike diligently and properly, so all Top Sounds releases are completely legit and are without exception, absolutely wonderful in both content and presentation.

I thought some of you might be interested in this. Got it via the BJH website. CDs of 60's radio stuff from fan-recorded tapes with the dj intro, released commercially.

Could this pave the way to whole shows being released legally (I think of that priceless stash of late 70's Peel shows that was donated to the BBC that will, tragically, probably never see (hear) the light of day). Yes, I know - copyright issues/work/research/money. I wonder if this record company got their Peel recordings from our generous contributors ?
