Just to add that another problem seems to be that some older browsers (such as Explorer 6, which I have at work) may not be supported properly in the new skin.

One related problem is that the the new top menu naviation may not appear in older browsers. I'll try and sort out some kind of alternative navigation route for such browsers when I get home tonight.
