Thanks for this ! Full marks for the 192/48 mp3 quality.

It's strange to hear Pink Floyd juxtaposed next to punky songs !
1979 was the last year that happened, maybe because the BBC bosses
decided to implement a policy of musical "apartheid"/segregation.

if it sounded like trad rock !

The Alan Freeman Sat Rock Show from 77 to 78 was multi-cultural - 
whilst mainly trad rock, it showcased the "best" new-wave eg 
Television, Pistols, Stranglers, X-Ray Spex, Clash etc... Sadly, it
ended in Aug 1978 ...............
