Great.
I remember recording this - and can still remember a lot of it - but have
not been able to find the tape again.
Indeed I remember suggesting that BBC 7 dig it out and rebroadcast it after
Peel's death.
I seem to remember the shoe shop being early on - and I enjoyed it so much I
went out and bought the book.
Somewhat dreading listening again ...

I think I had George Melly's "It Makes Me Laugh" on the other side of the
tape - and that was good as well.
