I have been contacted by one Dale Farrington, who is eager to get hold
of a recording of this session, recorded 1995-01-15 and transmitted
1995-02-11 with a repeat on 1995-09-16. I'll let Dale tell you himself
why he wants this so badly:
'You may be asking yourself why I would want something so obscure.
Well, ATVC were my band. We recorded one session for Peel (a
lifetime's ambition) and I'd love to hear it again. I lost my only
cassette copy when I emigrated to Thailand twelve years ago and have
lost touch with the other members of the group so I have no other way
hearing it.'
Now why did he ask me? Because my recent post on Pavement contains the
session that shared the first show date mentioned. I cannot oblige him
myself, so if anyone has either of those shows or the session itself,
please get in touch either with me direct or via a message here.
