I remember when I heard that he was going to Peru that it was quite an 
ambitious trip for someone who hated flying..never thought it would end 
like this. Also - in one of the many old interviews i read yesterday he 
was recounting how he took "a mountain of tranquilizers" before he 
could get on the plane to New Zealand. I know that when your number 
is up then it's time to go - but you can't help wondering whether he'd 
still be here with us, if only for a short while longer, if he hadn't taken 
that trip..
