I think they were booked for a Peel session because they'd signed for Elektra and had re-named themselves Leviathan, a very late 1960s name (like heavy, man) - and of course Peel liked a lot of the music Elektra put out. Maybe he wanted to encourage them, hoped for something good but was a bit underwhelmed by the results?
