Won't let me access my Yahoo account for some reason. 
I have said this before but I believe most people will choose the years from when they were 16 to 22. For me 1979 to 1985. This is a halfarsed tested theory in that I often espouse it in drunken conversations with people of different ages and always think I am right! Itis quite obvious that 1979 to 1985 was the most glorious period of Peel!
when i am very drunk I think it has something to do with plasticity of brain and role of music in helping to create common emotions in ceremonies for groups of young people (predominantly male) so they come together for common endeavours like hunting, fighting, food gathering and moshing. Sport and religion play a similar role. As you can tell this is a very drunken theory with no evidence!
