I should maybe have said 20-ish years, but it existed for… well, a while on a different setup - egroups (and I’d be surprised if you weren’t part of that). Unless Yahoo ported the old data over? Yahoo bought egroups anyway, and there was much moaning about the cumbersome ad-driven new boss.

Probably. Everything goes back to uk-indie(or chugchanga or maybe grunge-l or the chem board… these were the only groups I was on

Well, it was set up to discuss the music heard on the previous night’s show, pretty much. But I have trouble dating stuff from back then too. And there’s no evidence for a lot of stuff. Jockrock is 20 this year - probably. But I can’t actually put an exact date on it. (And am not expecting anyone else to be able to either!)
