Many thanks! Just heard 23rd Oct. "At Last I Am Free" by Robert Wyatt was a surprise - only a month ago I heard the Chic version for the first time and thought "Wow, this is amazing, what a great drink/drug song" ! I prefer the original but disagree with Peely - I think RW did a great, low-key, plaintive version, was he singing about his own experiences with booze I wonder...

Peely should have followed it with "I'm Free" by the Who, a brilliant song both lyrically and musically albeit about spiritual freedom rather than substance-induced (although they are not mutually exclusive)... "Tommy" and "Who's Next" are my fave Who albums, "Quadrophenia" is average/fair...

Now hearing Oct 27th and Peely kicks off with "Ace Of Spades", a very rare case in 1980 of Peely playing a Friday Rock Show fave, great song of course...
