I discovered a beta BBC World Archive website today

http://worldservice.prototyping.bbc.co.uk/

This prototype was built by BBC Research & Development and started as
part of the Automatic Broadcast Content Interlinking Project (ABC-IP), a
collaboration between BBC R&D and MetaBroadcast. The ABC-IP project is
supported by the UK government's Technology Strategy Board (TSB) as a
result of its 'Metadata: Increasing the value of digital content'
competition from September 2010.

There are a number (actually only a few, don't get excited) of Peel
interviews etc, including for example a 2003 Write On program dedicated
to Peel and his producer at that time Bobby Seiler

The site is wonderfully detailed for the anally retentive sound
archivists out there. You can for example tag 5 second sound bites
within the show. That said it is no way as good as the wonderful Peel wiki).
