The following message was received from another disgruntled Group owner concerning the new format:
Hi Everyone,
As you are probably aware, the familiar homepage picture & layout has disappeared because Yahoo! in their wisdom have decided to 'update' the format of most of the groups by fixing something that was not broken. There is a feedback page here: http://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/209451-us-groups/suggestions/4276993-return-groups-format-to-prior-format-that-works- where votes can be cast for or against & comments made about the new format. It would appear that if enough objection to the new format is shown then the old format will be restored.
John.

Hi Start,
Yeah, it's a new interface that came out in the past few days. If you go to the feedback section in the left margin, you'll see there are a fair few unhappy customers. I don't really mind it, as long as it does work OK.
And yeah, many thanks to all for recent shows.
Cheers,
SW

Interesting that my post, created from a reply to mr maudlin’s post, but with the email subject edited to 13th September 1989, shows up on the new Yahoo interface as a reply to mr maudlin in Conversation view, but as a new 13th September 1989 post in Message view.
Has the new interface just been released, or perhaps it’s the default and I have forgotten how to switch back to classic view?
Only tried the default IE8 on this new Windows 7 install, maybe it will work with more up to date browsers.
While I’m here, thanks to recent shows from mr maudlin and Karl/Andrew, looking forward to these!
Stuart

In reply to Stuart - creating this one with new topic on the new Yahoo Groups interface, so let's see if it gets there. Maybe it's just a few teething problems.
