More Automated Goings On - Last FM

It appears that some sort of Interweb scrobbly/trawly thing is going on with Last.fm. It has started picking up mp3 details on some shared Peel shows, though with no links to the audio.

I've never really understood what Last.fm is all about, most of the time I go there I can find nothing to listen to. I wonder if the shows are appearing just because someone has enabled an automatic scrobbly thing when they play an mp3 on their computer.
