Doh! I knew there was another (free) way, that works for Windows users too ­
MpegStreamclip! I use it almost every day ­ an invaluable freebie if you
work with video.
Go to http://www.squared5.com/ and download the version for your platform.
Install it, open the video the video and then go to File > Export as
Quicktime (or avi, or mpeg etc.), choose your settings (or go with the
defaults, if not sure) and use the Rotation menu halfway down the window,

I know this has NOTHING to do with John Peel but I need some technical
advice.... is there any way of rotating videos that I have taken on a mobile
phone (and, yes, I realise that having the device the right way up to begin
with would have been a good idea), suggestions anyone?
