You can rotate videos in Quicktime ­ if you have Quicktime Pro.
Open the video, go to Window > Get Info (cmnd-J), click on the Video track,
click the Visual Settings tab and use the Flip/Rotate buttons at the bottom.
 I'm not sure how this works now with Quicktime X, because I don't think
there is a 'Pro' version, but I keep a copy of of Quicktime 7 for this sort
of thing, which, if you're a Mac user, you'll find hidden in the 'Optional
installs' folder on your System disc.
All of which might not be very helpful if you're a Windows user, but worth a

I know this has NOTHING to do with John Peel but I need some technical
advice.... is there any way of rotating videos that I have taken on a mobile
phone (and, yes, I realise that having the device the right way up to begin
with would have been a good idea), suggestions anyone?
