On the grounds that one man's meat can be another man's poison, I tend not to get involved in this type of discussion, but I must just say that Melys produced a storming reunion performance some 18 months ago at Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff as part of the 2010 Swn festival.  And they could have pulled rank and insisted on headlining - it's not a big place, but they didn't, mixed in and stayed to hear some of the local bands who were on after them.  Respect is due, I think.
