What was your most hated Peel favourite band?

Actually, I like Elastica. Good toons and a very sexy warbler - can't go wrong. Were they "Britpop" ? If so, the exception that proves the rule. In terms of why the public buy a band, I reckon its 80 percent fashion, 20 music eg Oasis.
