Fellow Peelites

1) The excitement whipped up by my esteemed colleague Mr. Bray comes to its fruition.

Peel Late February 1979  (Sessions: Protex, Joe Jackson)

The first flowering of the Hinton Box reveal what is basically a mixtape of the 19th and 26th February shows, with two full sessions and a smattering of other tracks paused and restarted, so that little of our hero DJ remains. Nonetheless, it fills in a gap in the 400 Box series, and also poses a couple of mysteries. The appearance of the same Magazine LP track twice is explainable, but how about Adam And The Ants suddenly bursting out of the speakers, a month and a half before the session was TX and a long time before Dirk Wears White Sox came out? Is this the session? And what are the three mystery tracks? Help please! Many thanks to Brian and Colin!

2) 04 August 1991  (Sessions: Pixies, 70 Gwen Party)

Again, the pause button is in full effect, but it's all from the same show.  Help appreciated for four tracks. Cheers Colin!

3) 25 May 1996 (Sessions: Simon Joyner, Dweeb)

>From a fallow period for recordings thus far, about thirty minutes missing from this. Many thanks to the taper.

Best wishes
Steve (TK)
