MAYBE Townshend tuned in and heard Proclaimers when Peel had a daytime
slot standing in for someone in -when was it- spring of 1993?
I was mortified at the time that he played some S/A/W Kylie - and my
friends guffawed at my being so naive and mentioned this 'playlist'
thing he had to stick to.
