sad but at least we can do it in this day and age. if the BBC aren't interested lets do it ourselves in the spirit of punk
They do some good stuff too. Eg Some of you may be interested in this show on 6music - Mark Lamarr tells the story of The Upsetter: The Life and Works of Lee 'Scratch' Perry. A John Peel favourite. Its on iplayer at the moment - it seems to be part of a series celebrating 40 years of Trojan Records.

Am I the only one who finds that rather a sad reflection on the BBC's attitude to its premier broadcaster? So John wasn't joking when he said that they would rather keep episodes of Gardener's Question Time than sessions....or indeed recordings of his shows.
