Hmmm - interesting discussion about Radio Downloader, unfortunately academic until if/when it becomes Mac-friendly.
Thanks for suggestions Roger - I already use Audio Hijack, great software for recording all sorts of stuff.  I also have Eye TV, so can schedule recordings, but if I understand correctly Radio Downloader would also retrieve older programmes?
Irrespective of such niceties, what really puzzled me in the first place was that some of my earlier recordings seem to be full shows rather than podcasts.  Still great radio though - today I was listening to Joanna Lumley - fascinating woman, and that voice!
Similar to Desert Island Discs (Radio 4), does anyone remember a programme called 'My Top Ten' (Radio 1?) where celebrities chose records and then explained their reasons?
