I agree. I rather miss the punk poets - the b******d sons of Ivor. Attilla the Stockbroker (who remains true to the genre to this day), Porky the Poet (who transmuted into Phil Jupitus) and Craig Charles (who has never done anything half as good!). There was also one called something like Martin Besserman and I ended up in the background of an NME photo of him performing at Speakers Corner - I used to have a copy but its long gone ...

Thanks Darren. Nice part-show from a sparse year/period in our Peel archive. The stand-out for me was the Craig Charles session track - classify under "Scouse Scall Rap", ha ha ... Best (and first) thing he's ever done (yeah, I don't like 'Red Dwarf' or 'Coronation Street') !
