Firstly, thanks to all of you for responding so quickly and in such numbers with offers of help (maybe I should put 60s-70s at the head of every post....). I have written to our generous contact, but since he is a lister, he will see all of these messages anyway.
Secondly, maybe it has escaped the notice of all but the most deidcated Mooo and Wiki watchers. but Maximilian of Germany has started uploading his own collection of BFBS recordings: these are complimentary to Carsten's historic haul, since they appear to cover different periods. He has already uploaded years 1992 and 1993 to the Mooo and, given that I am currently attempting to help five different collectors catalogue their tapes already, there are simnply not enough hours in the day to do all of these by myself.
Nonetheless, there is a page (http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/Max-dat_Tapes) that I have created as a start. If anybody would like to help with these, it really would be welcome. I've done one show already (and managed to date it), but the products of some 37 four-hour DAT recordings reside there (I'm still downloading them myself).
