BFBS Shows

I have recently started to clear up some of the tapes lying around my house so that I can start converting them to digital format for sharing. The first tapes are some BFBS shows between 1995 and 1997, shortly before the services closed down here after the handover of Hong Kong back to China on 1997. As the shows were taped onto VCR (mainly to take advantage of being able to tape the whole show in one go, as Peel's BFBS show was normally broadcast during the midnight hours), and my VCR is wearing out a bit (almost impossible to find any replacement now in Hong Kong), there is some sizzling noise on the background in most files, and occasionally the machine switched itself to mono qaulity. But otherwise the sound quality should be quite reasonable.

The big headache however is uploading. I notice that uploading to the major file sharing sites (e.g. rapidshare, mediafire) is rather slow. So may take a while to share all these files.
