Hello from Louisiana USA, where I've been working on a film about the levees failure for Harry Shearer... that would seem like a good enough excuse for not posting much to this list lately wouldn't it? Stuck in the French Quarter with all the clubs and bars and bands and food on someone else's dime... yeh, its rough.

Anyway, there is a huge Gulf Coast Benefit Concert underway this afternoon, a who's who of New Orleans musicians, broadcast live now on WWOZ-FM till 10PM Central Time...  a fine station worth checking out almost any hour, but especially today. Allen Toussaint is on right now, a very good gumbo.
