Hello Ken,
Who could forget the lovely Glaswegians Camera Obscura, who seemed to do a session every fortnight for the last 5 years of the Peel show: every one a corker. I'm not sure it gave their career a massive boost, but they are still going strong. I saw them a fortnight ago and it prompted to to download their session with covers of Burns poems. Marvellous!
