More Old Playlists 1968-69

Yeah, brilliant. Many thanks, Mick! Am in the process of putting them up on the wiki. Not sure about the Feb 69 show. Let me dig around a bit (maybe it was on one of the "Tracks" compilations from a few months back - which I need to sort out a bit more for the wiki).

Anyway, absolutely all information on Top Gear, NIght Ride, etc, is most welcome indeed. My theory, for what it's worth, is that the more data we can get up on the wiki, the better the odds of someone stumbling on the site, or the list, and digging out old audio - from whatever era.

Uh, like me with the 1970 Hawkwind session show the other day...

Also, really fascinating to see what Peel was up to back in the day. Another thing from this period I stumbled on recently was a good part (four out of five tracks) of a 1970 Sunday Concert with Medicine Head (Black Sabbath were the other band on the show) - Peel links intact. Anyone interested in this should head for the John Fiddler official site:

http://www.johnfiddler.com/media.html

In the process of trying to sort out whatever Sunday Concerts I can dig up. There seem to be a few official releases, boots and blogs, so hope to get a few things together for the wiki.

Would be especially great to get more info from the first half of the 70s, as this seems like a bit of a fallow time for show data (and audio).

For the 60s, there's a fair amount of info on gigs (see the wiki Gigography section) - many thanks indeed to Colin for all his help, with big ups to the International Times online archive and the most excellent Marmalade Skies site : )

Looking to do similar for the 70s and beyond, but still early doors on that. It's all a matter of time really. I know there are plenty of mentions on assorted shows down the years.

Anyway, if anyone has any show or gigs data, please send it this way! Or just put it straight up on the wiki - all help is always appreciated.

Finally, just to mention I think there might be a couple of small things for Ken on the wiki re the sessions from Mick's latest TG playlists, although it might just be my eyesight going.

Cheers,

Steve W
