For anyone who's remotely interested, The Table are documented here:

although it's not mentioned that the single "Do The Standing Still" was originally on Catch A Wave Records with the Serial No. NICE-1 before it then appeared on VS-176 ps 4/77.

Their second single "Sex Cells" was on Chiswick NS-31 ps 6/78.

Here is part 2. 

The standout for me is a song called "Do The Standing Still" by (the) 
Table. When I heard it recently I got a shiver down my brain - this 
is brilliant, I remember this but when ? How many years ago - was it 
at the time ? Did I have it on a compilation tape (long-since wiped)?

Pity (the) Table never made an album.
