As a matter of fact ...
Last weekend I dug out a small box of tapes from under the stairs. Most are non-peel but, by pure coincidence, two were labelled "JP Classic Sessions".
One is the same as your show below (only shorter), but the other is from a different show, although unfortunately only 28 mins long.
Another coincidence is that both shows were followed by Stuart Maconie standing in for Mark Radcliffe. On the second tape SM mentions the fact that it's Epiphany, which dates it to 6/1/97; ie the 4th show of the second series.
It features mainly cover versions, except for tracks by The Stupids, Extreme Noise Terror and Unseen Terror. John doesn't give names for any of these tracks, so if anyone can identift them please let me know.
