Peel Day 2009

Happy Monday. Plans to mark Peel Day 2009 are already afoot in Singapore.
A Google-hunt hasn't provided me with any answers yet.
So, in case anybody out there knows better, let us know if it's wrong
to presume it will fall on 8.10.09.

Was last year's one not exactly sanctioned by the BBC?
I wasn't around to know. Online evidence it was marked by folk who simply
decided to make a day of it.
