[slightly OT] Teeny Kix

  I was going through my old DAT tapes yesterday, as I'm selling my DAT machine, and 
amongst the inevitable Peel shows (which I will be uploading, of course), I found something I 
sent to Peel on the occasion of one his birthdays, in the late 90's at a guess.
   I was saddened at the time to have it returned with the standard BBC rejection slip, as it 
was never really intended as a submission for airplay, just a kind of novelty birthday thing.
  I like to think that it was filtered out by a BBC office drone, and that John never got to hear 
it, because I'm sure he would never have been so rude as to return a gift, but instead would  
have discretely binned it with all the other stuff.
 I was chuffed to find this because I've lost the actual CD, (which was made at a time when 
blank CDR's were a fiver each!) and the multi-track files. 
 I've still got the rejection slip though, which i treasure along with my Peel-autograph-on-a-
fag-packet.
