Sounds like a plan to me!
And many thanks again for the latest FF78 and the 1982 Associates session show. Just
fantastic.
On the former, JP runs through the list to that point at around 22 minutes of tape A
(second half of the fifty) and seems like Poco doesn't actually make the final cut. Maybe he
played the track just before the F50 or something.
Is it me, or was there more than a hint of glee as he announced stuff like" down from #3 in
1976 to #47 this year," or something like that, for Bob Dylan and various others of the "old
guard"? Same when he counts down the last few -- "and #9 two years ago was (whoever).
This year..."
Out with the old!
Also seemed pretty happy with the 26 ot whatever changes in 1979. As someone else
remarked, a real transitional period. Shame it all got to re-solidified again so quickly -- in
many cases all the way to the millennium all-time 50.
Cheers,
Steve W
PS Long may holy grails be like buses!
