As an interesting aside, it appears that No Pussyfooting was rereleased recently with .... a
couple of the tracks played backwards! The explanation as to why this was done seems
somewhat wide of the mark, however:
"In September 2008, 35 years after its initial release, it was released by Opal Records as a
2CD, where the original 40 minutes LP was extended to 2 hours playing time, but with no
extra recordings! NO EXTRA I hear you say. Well this is what they did.
The album's original two pieces (The Heavenly Music Corporation and Swastika Girls) have
been reworked. Two versions of The Heavenly Music Corporation were added. One version is
the original but played backwards, while in the second you hear the track at half speed. You
get Swastika Girls also played backwards. It is an interesting experiment and it works! The
whole reissue thing must have been inspired by a bootleg that circulated in the 70s which
said to be BBC sessions, which was not the case but in fact was the original album playd in
reverse mode!"

Who'd of guessed that this simple Peelism would have spawned so much misinformation!
