Correct. I think Peel mentioned several times on air over the years that he still had a tape he made of the '68 Kidderminster gig and I remember corresponding with a die-hard Beefheart fan who bumped into him once and pestered him for a copy.

The tape he received from Peel was mono (ie it was only coming out of the left channel) so I fixed his copy for him so it came out of both speakers - much to his delight!

I don't know if the Grow Fins boxset used this version of the recording or if they directly sourced the original tapes from Peel. We'll probably never know...
