Thanks for your feedbacks! Glad to see no-one reporting problems downloading!

Rippers! - The Headcleaning thing is important - helluvalotta brown gunk
coming off onto my heads and rollers! Never did work out how to adjust azimuth,
though! Quite a few of the tapes sound fast - I guess the guy's machine may have
run slow, or maybe even a battery deck - either way any opinions on
percentage pitch shift would be appreciated as we go along - it may well be that all
the tapes are equally fast.

Keep a note of that link to my iDisk - Will post to list when I update the
files but probably only release that address by offlist email in future. You can
usually find one or two of my shows for Dandelion Radio on there as well.

Just ripping another 1978 show - fantastic so far - George Thorogood & the
Destroyers; Magazine; Jilted John; The Dickies' bleeped "Eve Of Destruction";
Captain Beefheart ; Steel Pulse; Devo; The Lurkers; Alternative TV session (Peel
introducing "The Good Missionary" - "I've used his position for years") -
References to "Kid Jerkin" as well as the infamous Radio One Roadshow - brought
back memories of what exciting times those were! Thanks to Peelie would hear at
least ten new records a week that I would have bought if I could have
afforded it! Wish I had now - I wouldn't need to spend (quite) so much on eBay. At
the time couldn't even afford not to re-use my cassettes & reels!

In an update to the "400 tapes" thread - there are actually 427 of the little
beggars (and 428 cases, for some reason!)

Not sure when I'll get time to edit and upload any more as all effort now
transfers to preparing my September Dandelion Radio show - which has to be
finished by next Monday.

ALSO - The Special Delivery envelopes arrived today! Will spend this evening
packaging up cassettes in bubblewrap - Hopefully will get time tomorrow to
sneak out of work to the post office - in which case:

Rippers - you should expect a package each during the day on Wednesday - will
need to be signed for. Here is the current list of Rippers:

Roger Carruthers (South Wales)
faggy-fewster (London)
Rob Fleay (Derbyshire)
Jimmy Step (Glasgow)
Dr Mango (Lancashire)
Bill From (North Wales)
Chachaman (Leicestershire)

Will include a special delivery envelope back to me in each package - As soon
as I receive the return package (cassettes plus ripped files on CDr or DVDr
or USB stick) will send on the next batch (will also return any USB sticks!).

Cheers!

Rocker
