John,
The first is really bizzarre, however, you'll probably be aware that our Reggie (or Ronnie Beaujolais as Private Eye used to call him) was well known for being a piss artist, and let's face it he sounds pissed on this track, but back in those good old days of 76/77, I remember walking down the Kings Road one Saturday morning and coming across Reggie, walking toward me, quite clearly out of his box, and this was about 9:30 in the morning!!
And don't get me talking about The Nails. What a great record that was. The other three tracks on the EP were shite though.

Subject: [peel] Peel plays Bosinquet
Two more Peel Show uploads for your summer listening.
The first is truly bizarre - a short snippet of Peel introducing and
playing Dance With Me by Reginald Bosinquet. Back in 1980 when ITV was
still a serious public service broadcaster, the News at Ten newsreader
Reginald Bosinquet recorded a single that was totally at odds with his
serious on-screen persona. Peel played it several times; this was the
second playing.

The second is a compilation from 1980-1983, heavily edited with most
Peel links intact. It features Undertones, Nails (88 lines about 44
women), Alexi Sayle (Hello John Gotta New Motor), Junior Roots, Elmore
James, a short celebration of Daglaishmus, UK Decay, New Order, Angelic
Upstarts, Girlschool and Psychedelic Furs. If you want audio purity or
need to know the exact date or time of the transmissions this one is
probably not for you. If you remember Peel as a bloke who played a
variety of music with funny links you might just like it....
