Hi group
Funny the said Tony Blackburn was in dictionary
corner
on Countdown this last week. They never cease to amaze
me who they drag in on that prog (i was a contender
thrice now years ago); i couldn't help wondering now
would Peelie have done that. I remember he would
sometimes appeal for the answer to a clue from the
Guardian quick crossword on air which amused me.
I am a crossword fanatic and have just returned from
the Times Crossword Championship in Cheltenham. It's
the only world chmshp for xwords and i am in the top
hundred let's say. The average times xword doer seems
not to like music made later than the first world war
so i feel quite unique.
Anyway i dedicate my pilgrimmage to the John; some
old C90's were involved.
