The news would have started at 22:00 therefore the programme is most likely 1hr 57 minutes or thereabouts. The reel to reels that Kev has started with mostly come in around 1hr 50 mins which is due to incorrect speed of the tape deck. Never the less, the whole programme, with news should be 2hrs.

Sorry if this is a repeat topic, but how long was the Peel show
around 1981 ? If the news/sport was on at 10pm then the time would
be 2hrs minus about 3 mins. If they put the news/sport on just before
10pm then the JPS would have been exactly 2hrs/120 mins.
