Preumably there are interested parties here who have been following this for some time, so 
my apologies if I'm coming in late on this, but:

As I understand it, this is not just a thing that affects our friends across the sea, but will 
affect any web station that can be accessed from the States - which is presumably most of 
them - so perhaps we should be worried and making some noise about it...?
