Cheers Martin.
My google revealed a "Planet Dog" Peel
comp cd with 2 tracks from Banco. I was so impressed by
"Maya" - still stands up. Yeah, Foxxy went a bit too
commercialised around 85. Ultravox-Foxx did a Peel
around the time of the "Ha Ha Ha" album - I wish they'd
have done one around the "Systems" album - again very
underrated at the time but influential on the likes of
Gary Numan and I'm sure many more. His 90's comeback stuff
warrrants hearing but poss lacks that undefinable "spark"
of 'Meta' and 'Garden'. Now listening to 'Starship Trooper'
by Yes - it just built up to a climax but its finished now -
sorry !
Yours,
Betty E. Box
