I think he really did like it and/or her.
I remember seeing a photo of her serving food or drink to him and John
Walters.
Couple of examples ...
He featured it in the "Peelenium" for 1980 on 2nd December 1999 - along with
Joy Division, Fall, and Golinski Brothers.

21st June 2001 (recorded in Spain) ... he played that track followed by
Abide With Me, Fall, Culture, You'll Never Walk Alone and The Undertones.
