Dear Andrew,

Thanks, The Suicidal Birds were already on my ''Dedicated to Peel
list''. I agree they are ace, both on cd as on stage. For some reason I
dj quite often where they also play live, and they are very nice people
as well. I've got a very good recording of their very first gig, from
early January, but I'm not sure whether they want me to broadcast it...
Their album was released on the same day as their first gig!! So also
hats off to the label Transformed Dreams for signing them before they
had ever played live! 
Live they also do a version of The Stooges' I Wanna Be Your Dog. They
are also very big Gun Club and Fall fans. A shame they only did ''old
songs'' for the session, as they have a couple of ace new tracks as
well. They are now a ''proper'' band, so it's not Jessie and a backing
band.

Can't remember if anyone mentioned it here before, but I've just 
bought The Suicidal Birds 'Z-List' album, on the strength of their 
excellent session on Huw Edwards this week, and their album is 
dedicated to John Peel.
