Neneh Cherry was a Peel veteran    Apart from Rip Rig And Panic (I don't 
think she was actually on the Peel sessions they did but she was on the 
records that he played a lot) she was in the later stages of The Slits and 
did do a Peel session with them
Peel played Buffalo Stance before it became a US hit and then a UK one.
Before Neneh Cherry put it out the song made an appearance as 'Looking Good 
Diving' by Morgan McVey and the version on the B side featured Neneh 
Cherry.  It was produced by Stock Aitkin And Waterman!   It doesn't wuite 
have the flow of the hit but all the elements are there.
