Laura Cantrell plays intimate gig in Fopp

The multi-talented, Nashville born singer/songwriter Laura Cantrell 
is a DJ on American free-form radio station WFMU as well as a 
successful musician. She is flying into Glasgow this Thursday (July 
28th) for an in-store acoustic gig in Fopp on Glasgow's Union Street 
at 1pm.

After the gig, Laura will be available to sign copies of her latest 
album Humming By The Flowered Vine, which is on sale now.

John Peel famously reviewed Laura's Debut album Not the Tremblin' 
Kind as "My favorite record from the last ten years, and possibly my 
life." So with backing like that from one of the greatest DJs to ever 
don a pair of headphones, you know that Laura will be worth a listen.

With a music career starting in 2000, Laura has built a loyal fan 
base in the UK and her live reviews speak of sold out venues with 
fans singing along to every word she sings.

Laura Cantrell will also be playing a gig in the Queens Hall in 
Edinburgh on September 24th.
