I see what you mean about a tough decision.  Do you display a ruthless single-mindedness and stay loyal to the music, or do you go all soft, stay with the girlfriend, and hope to be interviewed by Peel in a typically sentimental feature on Tough Choices on Radio 4's Home Truths.

There is a third way... Keep the girlfriend and listen to John Peel at 7:30 every Friday night on BBC World Service (648 MW or Digital Radio).  If she vetoes that, time to be making the "it's me, not you" speech.
