Just What Is It With Hefner

According to my calculations since march 99 there have
been 5 Peel sessions of differing sorts by Hefner
and in a couple of weeks there is yet another coming

They are not cutting edge and they get plenty of
daytime and early evening airplay (they have done 2 Lamacq
sessions and been on every local station known to man in
the same time period)

Can someone please explain to me just why this band whose sound
is much more Lamacq than Peel get such huge coverage from
Peel when many other deserving bands are lucky to get one
session every couple of years
