I agree with this completely (apart from the richly detailed bit) as 
regards post Barafundle (1997) stuff. Extremely boring, on the whole. But 
for earlier records, I couldn't disagree more. Bwyd Time ('95) is one of 
the records of the 90s, and Tatay ('94) is great too. And I don't think 
anybody who's heard Tatay could accuse it of being "carefully rehearsed." 
But then they moved from Ankst records, and left their producer Alan 
Holmes. Made one good record (Barafundle; thoough it's much more sober than 
earlier stuff) then went all crap. And if I'd seen them last night, I would 
have fallen asleep, I think.

Seems to me that the only interesting bands in Wales any more are SFA and 
Tystion, but there's a lot of stuff I don't know, of course...
